Assistant Coach: Mike Fanelli
Coach Fanelli returns for a 5th season as an assistant coach with the women's softball program. A Proctor and MVCC graduate, he has helped in turning the program into a consistent regional power. The past two Hawk teams have combined for 53 wins and only 16 losses including a school record for wins (31) in 2006. Coach Fanelli believes in constantly stressing taking good approaches at the plate. This approach has led to the Hawks rewriting every offensive school record and has lead to numerous all-conference, all-region and all-american selections. This too shall prove as an exciting season for the Hawks, as they will try to build onto last seasons first ever Regional Runner-Up Performance. With a great mix of returning players and an outstanding freshmen class the Hawks will look to take the next step under Coach Fanelli's tutelage.
