Game Recaps

Down eight at the half Holyoke took their first lead of the game at the 10:30 mark of the second half and finished the game on a 16-7 run.  The Cougars were led by Megan Baker with 17 points, 13 rebounds and Erin Russell with 11 points, 10 rebounds.  The Raiders were led by Becky Skiba with 20 points, 13 rebounds.

MATC took their first lead of the game at the 15:31 mark of the second half and held on for the victory in a closely  contested game for the victory.  The Wolfpack were led by Alyssa Schiele with 35 points, 17 rebounds and Dana Wagner with 22 points.  The Lady Knights were led by Melissa Weithman with 32 points and Tyisha Moten with 17 points, 9 rebounds.

In a game that featured 12 lead changes and 6 ties DuPage narrowly edged Brookdale in the consolation game for third and fifth place.  The Chaparrals were led by Bonnie Nge with 23 points and Amanda Smith with 15 points, 9 rebounds.  The Jersey Blues were led by Kitora Jones and Olivia Triano with 16 and 15 points respectively.

Monroe College jumped out to a nine point halftime lead and won going away.  The Mustangs were led by tournament MVP Monet Johnson with 30 points, 14 rebounds.  The Hawks were led by Samantha Morgan with 13 points, 12 rebounds.
