Bio: I enjoy working with my hands on anything mechanical and recently have discovered home improvement construction. When I am away from aviation I am an avid NASCAR fan and I like to travel with my wife. Snowmobiling is a winter time hobby, along with cycling and car shows in the summer months.

Industrial/Outside Work Experience: I began with restoration of WWII-Era Vintage Aircrafts including but not limited to a T-6 Texan, Boeing B-17 Bomber, North American B-25 fighter/bomber and a Lockheed T-33. After this I was a Heavy Maintenance Technician for Comair, a former Delta Airlines feeder, in Orlando, FL and Cincinnati, OH. Two years later I was hired as the Director of Maintenance for the Slush Puppy Corporation’s four corporate jet aircraft; here I spent five years responsible for all aircraft maintenance requirements in the flight department for both internal flying and chartered flights with the company aircraft. After this my first job back in the Utica/Rome area was with Global Aviation, the first civilian aviation company to locate to the former Griffiss Air Force Base in 1999. In late 2000 when Global Aviation folded I began working for the Bombardier Aerospace Learjet Division at Bradley International Airport in Connecticut as Lead Technician and Assistant Supervisor for the Weekend Shift for about two years. While here I also worked for Mohawk Valley EDGE at Griffiss part time as the Aviation Marketing Specialist. My function was to attract new aviation tenants and provide aviation industry experience for EDGE. In 2002 I was hired by Empire Aero Center as the Logistics/Facility Manager and also as Customer Service Manager. Here I was heavily involved in the multi-million dollar modification and upgrade construction project that took place in hangar Empire Occupied that is now occupied by Premier Aviation. I was at Empire until 2006 when MVCC hired me to become the A&P Program Director.
