Bio: After receiving her MA in 2009, Anna taught for a year at Wells College before returning to her hometown of Utica to teach at MVCC.  She has a passion for making math accessible to students whose relationship with math is messy at best, and her love for math is found more in its philosophical truths than its scientific.  Anna is a connoisseur of puns and tongue twisters, a mezzo soprano in an area choir, and a cat-owner who enjoys crocheting, reading across the genres, and writing fairy tales.
