Purpose Statement: The purpose of the Chancellor’s Award Committee for Student Excellence is to strengthen the selection process at the College by developing and maintaining a process for nomination of students who meet the SUNY criteria for the Chancellor’s Award.

DOES
- Develop appropriate processes and standards for the identification of students that meet the SUNY criteria for the Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence.
- Communicate information to the college community regarding the nomination process, standards and relevant deadlines.
- Send nominees the packet/forms to be filled out by the nominees and assist in any way possible.
- From the nominations returned select those candidates that best represent MVCC. Recommend those nominees to the President and/or the Executive Director of Organizational Development Select
