Steering Committee
The Steering Committee provides overall direction to the Self-Study project. It reviews the Self-Study Plan, supports and monitors the activities of the Work Groups, addresses conflicts and issues, reviews and approves the final Self-Study Report, and helps to plan and organize the Team visit.

Liaisons serve as resources to the Work Groups, assisting them with organizational structure, data and document access, effectiveness, institutional approach, and collaboration. They attend the Work Group meetings as required and their schedules allow.

The Work Groups are responsible for researching, analyzing, and reporting about their assigned Standards. Each Work Group conducts research using the Document Inventory and other sources, analyzes its data with reference to Characteristics of Excellence in Higher Education, and prepares a report with recommendations in response to its Charge Questions. Each Work Group report is submitted to the Steering Committee for approval and synthesis into the final Self-Study Report.
