Description: This scholarship was established for the purpose of recruiting and attracting potentially deserving minority students to MVCC. David Mathis is now a trustee of MVCC, has served as VP of the MVCC Foundation, is currently director of Employment & Training for Oneida County.
Amount Awarded: $500 tuition credit
Criteria Checklist:
- Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Must be a minority student
- Have demonstrated leadership qualities
- Have at least a moderate degree of financial need
- Must be full-time (12 or more credit hours per semester)
