Description: This scholarship is in memory Alexander Scicchitano who was here for just a very short time. This is an inspiration for the establishment of this most worthy award that honors a high school student who has unselfishly given his or her time to do volunteer work in their community. This will be awarded to a high school senior at either Rome Catholic High School or Rome Free Academy.
Amount Awarded: Full tuition less financial aid
Criteria Checklist:
- Must be either from Rome Catholic High School OR Rome Free Academy
- Preference will be given to a student who has done community service work for at least 2 years, especially in assisting the elderly or infirm
- Must apply for financial aid (TAP)
- Must maintain a minimum 2.5 G.P.A. to qualify for a second semester
