Phi Theta Kappa

Phi Theta Kappa is the official International Honor Society for Two-Year Colleges.

The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.

Our chapter at MVCC is Lambda Beta, and we have over 300 current members.  This semester we have invited over 500 students to join!

Students who have been invited to join Phi Theta Kappa for Fall 2014 have until Monday, December 15, 2014 to accept membership, and may do so electronically or may click here for the application form and details.

We hope you will accept this invitation to join the honor society - you deserve it!
