Chuck Svoboda holds a M.S. degree in Health Care Administration from The New School for Social Research, and a B.S. degree from Upstate Medical University in Respiratory Therapy with a major in education. He has more than 35 years of professional practice/teaching experience. He teaches Principles of Respiratory Care 1, Cardiopulmonary Pharmacology, Cardiopulmonary Diseases, and Clinical Practicum 1, 2, 3 and 4. Chuck served as the President of the Central New York Chapter of the New York State Society for Respiratory Care (NYSSRC) from 2002 - 2004. Chuck has also served as a board member on the NYSSRC Board of Directors since 2000 and was President of the NYSSRC (2006 - 2007).

Faculty do not have office hours over the winter break or if their classes are not in session, i.e. during the summer.
