MVCC Graduate Giedraitis Receives Research Opportunity, Scholarship

May 28, 2014 - Nicolai Giedraitis, a recent Engineering Science graduate from Mohawk Valley Community College, received a $400 scholarship from the New York State Mathematics Association of Two Year Colleges (NYSMATYC). He also won a competitive research opportunity at Cornell University, where he will spend eight weeks this summer doing research at a particle physics lab and earn a stipend of $3,920. This is the fourth time in the past five years that an MVCC student has been awarded this research scholarship.

Utica & Rome Campus Spring Transfer Fair

Apr 2, 2014 - The Office of Transfer Services will be hosting its Spring Transfer Fairs on both the Utica and Rome Campuses. The Utica Campus Transfer Fair will take place Tuesday, April 8th from 10am-12pm in the ACC Commons.The college will be hosting 65 4-yr institutions who are eager to speak not only to our students, but also our faculty. The Rome Campus Transfer Fair will be held on Wednesday April 23rd from 11am-1pm in the Plumley Complex Atrium.
