MVCC, SUNY Cortland partner on graduate center
SUNY Cortland and Mohawk Valley Community College have partnered to make MVCC’s Utica campus the host site for SUNY Cortland’s Mohawk Valley Graduate Center (MVGC), which offers SUNY Cortland graduate programs in educational leadership and literacy education to people who want to earn a SUNY Cortland degree in the Mohawk Valley.
The partnership will kick off Aug. 7 with the MVGC Open House open to all current students, alumni, and community members interested in the MVGC. The Open House will be from 4-6 p.m. in MVCC’s Excellus Conference and Training Center, Room 225 of the Information Technology Building at 1101 Sherman Drive, Utica.
On hand will be representatives of SUNY Cortland’s graduate Literacy Education and Educational Leadership programs. Light refreshments will be served. Adjunct instructors and currently enrolled students are especially encouraged to attend, as there will be tours, an introduction to the location of the new SUNY Cortland office, and information on books, parking, MVCC services and more.
