Mohawk Valley Community College is offering prospective students a chance to accelerate the admissions process with Instant Admit Days every Tuesday from July 3 through Aug. 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on its campuses in Utica (1101 Sherman Drive) and Rome (1101 Floyd Ave.).
Instant Admit Days provide prospective students the opportunity to visit campus, make personal connections, apply for admission and financial aid, and walk away with an MVCC admissions acceptance – all in one day. Admissions counselors will be on hand to answer questions about MVCC’s vast variety of academic programs and support services, and to help applicants through the process. Prospective students need only bring an official, sealed high school transcript or a copy of their GED in order to be admitted. Immunization records will help accelerate the registration process.
Financial aid counselors will also be available to answer questions and help with financial aid applications. Prospective students should bring a copy of their 2011 taxes if they would like to begin their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
