MVCC Offers Spring Enrollment, Student Services

Mohawk Valley Community College’s Spring 2013 semester will begin Jan. 22. The college is accepting applications and enrolling students for Spring through 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 21.
The extended offering is designed to support students who are transferring to MVCC from other colleges and universities; working adults with fast-changing educational needs; and returning MVCC students seeking to accelerate progress toward a degree or certificate.
New students interested in an MVCC degree or certificate program, whether full-time or part-time, may apply and register up to the start of classes. Returning students may also register for spring classes during this time. All students are responsible for financial aid paperwork, paying or confirming payment plans within one business day of scheduling, and other administrative steps to be enrolled. For enrolled students, normal MVCC procedures for adding and dropping classes will continue to be in effect. At this time MVCC is also accepting applications for the Summer 2013 and Fall 2013 semesters, for students planning their educations further in advance.
To assist students with the process, MVCC’s Student Service Centers in Utica and Rome will be open today through Thursday, Jan. 24, 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; and Monday (Martin Luther King Jr. Day), 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
