To make it easier for students to enroll and register, Mohawk Valley Community College will be open late Jan. 6-23. The Spring 2014 semester will begin Jan. 21 and the last day to register will be Jan. 20.
To help students and families prepare, MVCC is extending hours of operation to 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Fridays and the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, the hours will be 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Available offices in Utica and Rome will include Admissions, Advisement, Placement Testing, Financial Aid, Records and Registration, and Bursar. ID cards and other student services will be available during extended hours. Other college services and staff will be available from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. daily.
Applications and registrations for spring classes will be taken until Jan. 20. New students will need to participate in a Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) session, available by appointment throughout the month of January by calling 315-731-5710.
