MVCC cancels, reschedules some events due to weather

Due to the weather forecast, Mohawk Valley Community College has announced the cancellation or postponement of several Cultural Series events.

Hypnotist Gabriel Holmes, who was scheduled to perform at 7 p.m. today on the Utica Campus, has been rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 15, at 7 p.m. in the Alumni College Center Commons on the Utica Campus. Admission is $10 general, $5 faculty and staff, and free for MVCC students.

The Black History Superbowl Game Show and Competition, originally scheduled for noon Saturday on the Rome Campus has been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 16, at noon in Festine Auditorium on the Rome Campus. Participants will have the chance to win more than $300 in prizes.

Rome Rocks! “Close Up Concert on Camera Series” with electronic dance music group BUJAK, which was originally scheduled for 8 p.m. today in Festine Auditorium on the Rome Campus, also has been cancelled. Plans are being made to reschedule and all tickets will be honored on the rescheduled date.
