Kenichi Ebina, winner of the eighth season of “America’s Got Talent,” will perform as part of MVCC’s Cultural Series on Saturday, March 29, at 7 p.m., at the Rome Capitol Theatre, 220 W. Dominick St.

Kenichi is a solo, self-taught dance performer who started out dancing in the style of freestyle hip-hop and expanded to poppin’, lockin’, mime, house, jazz, contemporary, and ethnic dance. Kenichi offers a unique dance show with sound, light and visual effects.
In 2001, Kenichi founded a dance group with all Japanese dancers called BiTriP, which won first place in that year’s grand championship “Amateur Night” at the world-famous Apollo Theater. In 2007, Kenichi appeared on the dance contest in “Showtime at the Apollo” as a solo performer and became the grand champion of the 2007 season. He has performed at many events and on TV shows, and has taught in the United States, Europe, Russia, China, Korea, Singapore, Japan, Morocco, and Australia. Currently, Kenichi featured in the television show “Angelina Ballerina” on PBS Kids as a featured dance performer. To learn more, visit www.ebinaperformingarts.com.
