Aug 27, 2014 - “Paradox and Conformity,” an exhibit by Hudson Valley artist Richard Deon, will kick off the Fall exhibitions at Mohawk Valley Community College’s Juergensen Gallery, with an opening reception and lecture at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, in room 225 of the Information Technology building, across the hall from the gallery.

MVCC Graduate Giedraitis Receives Research Opportunity, Scholarship

May 28, 2014 - Nicolai Giedraitis, a recent Engineering Science graduate from Mohawk Valley Community College, received a $400 scholarship from the New York State Mathematics Association of Two Year Colleges (NYSMATYC). He also won a competitive research opportunity at Cornell University, where he will spend eight weeks this summer doing research at a particle physics lab and earn a stipend of $3,920. This is the fourth time in the past five years that an MVCC student has been awarded this research scholarship.
