Discussion Board

The Discussion Board allows you to post assignments in a way that can make them available to your classmates and/or instructor, so they can read and reply to your assignments and vice versa. Instructors use the online Discussion Board as a way to approximate the kinds of discussion that happen in an on-campus classroom. Most often, your instructor will create the forums onto which you post your assignments. You will post your assignments as threads (as in "threads of discussion") and/or as replies to others' threads, as indicated by your instructor.
