SUNY Student Opinion Survey

In 1985 SUNY Central Administration contracted with the American College Testing Program Inc. to develop a SUNY Student Opinion Survey to collect data on student satisfaction with various aspects of the college experience at SUNY two- and four-year institutions. The survey is scheduled to be administered every three years. Feedback from colleges suggested a need for a separate survey that would be more appropriate for the SUNY community colleges, and administration of two versions of the SOS began in 2003. Further changes were reflected in the 2006 and 2010 SOS survey instruments.

National Community College Benchmark Project

The National Community College Benchmark Project is a data collection and reporting process that allows community colleges from across the nation to report outcome and effectiveness data and to benchmark themselves with their peer institutions. You can find more information on the NCCBP website.
