Student Accident Insurance Policy Information
Welcome to your Student Accident Insurance Program. All full-time students are automatically enrolled in this group Accident Insurance Policy. The cost of $8.50 was included on your student bill. Like many colleges, in order to participate in a group accident insurance plan, MVCC must universally require all full time students to particpate. While we do recogize that many students already have insurance, many do not. One accident, without insurance, can often cause a financial crisis capable of derailing an entire semester.
What is the insurance? It is in accident insurance policy. Accidents occurring either on or off campus may be claimed on this policy, subject to the terms and conditions of the full policy. Underwritten by: COMMERCIAL TRAVELERS MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY. The policy # is: 2014A3A02.

How do I file a claim? Claim forms can be obtained from the Student Health Center on the Utica Campus in the the Student Services Office, Plumley A30 on the Rome Campus. Claim information can be followed on-line at studentplanscenter.com or by calling 1 (800) 756-3702.
