MVCC Health Center
The MVCC Health Center extends a number of services to our students to help them maintain a healthy, college-life experience.
As a Registered Professional Nurse, I provide basic first aid, health assessments, respond to campus emergencies and make referrals for additional treatment and/or counseling as required. Our goal is to provide timely and effective service to our students. While we are not an infirmary, we employ an independent physician who is on campus weekly and available on an emergency basis to address student health issues which require attention beyond the scope of the Health Center.
The Health Center works closely with the Resident Life staff, the Office of Disabilities, the Counseling Center and faculty to help in whatever way we can to keep students at their optimum level of health and successful in their academic pursuits. The Center also provides health education and programs on various health-related topics of interest to college students, as well as the general public.
The Health Center looks forward to meeting you and hope you will find our Health Center a place where you will feel comfortable in addressing your health care concerns.
