Write on! Wipe off!

Susan D. Smith

Many of our classrooms have white boards and they are great to use, so long as you’re using the correct markers to write on them and the correct erasers to clean them.

Before using white boards, please stop and check to make sure that you are using DRY ERASE markers and erasers.  Writing on white boards with permanent markers may create a permanent mess.  Trying to remove permanent marker ink from white boards with water or other cleaning supplies often makes things worse.  The remedy then becomes buying and replacing the board.

If you use the white boards in your classrooms, please be sure to use DRY ERASE markers and erasers only.  You may obtain markers and erasers them from your Center support staff.
