Teaching Squares Project is a program primarily for the NFI cohort. Although far less extensive than year one, and far more flexible, this program builds upon what participants have already learned while creating a support system for the NFI cohort. A key component of this project is to continue to improve teaching and build community through a natural extension of the open classroom visitations in which members participated through NFI the prior year. It is a structured, not-evalutative process of classroom observation and shared reflection. The difference with this year, NFI members get to visit each other's classrooms and then participate in facilitated conversations to deepen the learning and idea exchange from the experience.
