Basic PC Fundamentals
This course is designed for individuals who lack the basic PC skills necessary for many employment opportunities. Course content includes best mouse practices, keyboarding skills, introductions to Windows 7 and the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Access, and Excel. This training has a $400 value.

Fast Lane to Cybersecurity
The Fast Lane to Cybersecurity course will train participants in basic networking, assessing and handling security risks, hardware components, and basic computer troubleshooting. This course is designed for individuals who have basic computing skills and are seeking broader knowledge in the field. Upon successful completion, the participant will be able to perform basic PC troubleshooting in an office environment. The Fast Lane to Cybersecurity enhances the CompTIA STATA curriculum. This training has a $1,500 value.

INDIVIDUALS MAY NOT ATTEND CLASSES UNLESS REGISTERED AND HAVE SPOKEN TO A CAREER SPECIALIST!
REQUIREMENTS:
- Participants must attend ALL classes.
- A birth certificate and a photo ID (preferably a driver’s license) must be presented at the first class in order for copies to be made. This is a requirement of the program, no exceptions allowed.
- Participants must be residents of Herkimer, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Otsego, or Chenango counties.
- All participants must be registered and enrolled prior to attending class. No enrollments will be done on the first day of class.
- Some restrictions apply to employed individuals.
- All participants must have spoken to a Career Specialist and have completed a pre-application before registering.

Professional Level Courses
The Professional Level of the CyberJobs Training Program currently consists of Network and Security These courses are highly specialized and deal with advanced material that may restrict enrollment to tenured IT professionals or those with strong IT backgrounds (i.e. military experience or a degree in an IT field). Restrictions apply to employed individuals interested in the program. Please contact the CyberJobs Office for more information.
