Valentine’s Day Weekend Sweet Heart Formal

Celebrate Valentine’s Day Weekend with a romantic night of music, dancing, and delicious food – all for less than $20.

Mohawk Valley Community College’s Cultural Series will present its first Sweet Heart Formal on Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Plumley Complex Atrium on the Rome Campus. The evening will feature music by Defining Memories DJ Service and your host, Big Poppa Gary Spears, as well as a FREE photo booth to capture your memories of the evening.

And if the way to one’s heart is food, you’ll be in the right place for romance. The tentative menu includes chicken cordon bleu bites, cheese and crackers, and fresh vegetables and dip. Dessert will feature a Chocolate Fountain with marshmallows, pretzels, fresh strawberries, and Valentine's Oreos for dipping. Sparkling non-alcoholic punch will be served all night.

Admission is $15 general, $10 for faculty and staff, and free for MVCC students. So find a date or come solo!
