Liberal Arts and Sciences – Adolescence Education
The Liberal Arts and Sciences: Adolescence Education Program is the first step for students seeking teacher certification to enable them to teach students in grades 7 – 12. Designed as a transfer program, this teacher preparation curriculum provides introductory education and general education courses and transfers readily into four-year colleges, where students may complete their teacher preparation coursework. Students choose a concentration area—Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, English, History, Mathematics, or Physics—a subject which they would ultimately like to teach, and, therefore, that in which they will concentrate their college study.
