MVCC Offers a Second Session of Health and Wellness Classes in Utica

If you're looking for a challenging, calorie-burning, body-transforming workout, then this is for you. The workout follows MAX Interval Training—long bursts of maximum-intensity exercise with short periods of rest - for maximum results.
Mondays, April 21 – June 30, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Cost $59.
Wednesdays, April 23 – June 25, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Cost $59.
Double Session Mondays and Wednesdays, April 21- June 30, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Cost $89.

House Party Fitness
House Party Fitness is a new dance fitness and branded cardio hip-hop program that uses the hottest music and moves that can translate to the dance floor. House Party Fitness© is designed to be fun, easy, and adds a fitness flair to each workout that is not in other dance fitness programs. Cost: $59.

This ancient, Chinese martial arts practice can be done by anyone who can walk and teaches mind and body control that is useful for all of life’s activities. Cost $59.

This class fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will tone and sculpt the body while burning fat. Beginners are welcome. Bring water, sneakers, and a mat for stretching. Cost: $59.

Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief. Cost $59.
Wednesdays, April 23 – June 25, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

PiYo Strength focuses on agility, dance conditioning, athletic training, cored conditioning, balance flexibility, and so much more. Using your body weight as resistance, this is a fusion format that moves quickly, powerfully, and creates strength from the transverse abs out. Cost $59.
Thursdays, April 24- June 26, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Healing Hatha Yoga
The physical postures of yoga open, nourish, and stabilize our bodies, while the guided breath work and mental focus help shift our nervous systems to a state of calm and clarity. Whether experienced or new to the practice of Yoga, this class will give you tools for managing life’s ups and downs while developing physical strength, poise and balance. Cost $69.

Beginner Belly Dance
Learn the art of Belly Dance, tone up, and have fun! Rooted in the Middle Eastern tradition, its expression is both freeing and a great workout for women of all ages! For beginners learning the basics, or for those wishing to refine skill and technique. No experience necessary. Cost: $59
