Managing PMS and Menopause Naturally
Hormones play a vital role in our health but can cause tremendous turmoil when they are out of balance.  As a result, we experience many signs and symptoms that are unbearable at times and are ALWAYS unnecessary. In this class you will learn a little on how our hormones are produced and metabolized as well as what foods favorably influence this process so you can say goodbye to PMS and menopausal symptoms for good! Class is February 15 from  6 - 7:30 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center, 2310 Oneida Street, Utica. Registration cost is $19.

Managing Diabetes through Nutrition
Diabetes is the one disease state that is recognized to be caused by food, in particular the WRONG foods!  Kim will guide you through the mechanisms of how blood sugar and insulin work in your body as well as share some of the most recent research promoting lifestyle choices rather than drugs! She will also share a simple, balanced food plan that can help you stabilize your blood sugar and insulin levels in as little as 12 weeks. Class is March 14 from 6 - 7:30 pm at the Jewish Community Center, 2310 Oneida Street, Utica. Registration cost is $19.

Health Begins in the Gut
The delicate balance in your GI tract is largely dependent on proper nutrients, beneficial bacteria,
and foods.  The Standard American Diet has led to many disturbances in the digestive tract including but not limited to IBS, constipation, diarrhea, IBD, Crohn’s, colitis and other digestive diseases.  Join Kim as she explains the basic biology of the GI tract and what foods and nutrients can help you restore your gut health in as little as eight weeks! Class is April 18 from 6 - 7:30 pm at the Jewish Community Center. Registration cost is $19.
