NASA TINES Program

NASA TINES Program

Greetings K-12 Teachers!

Thank you for your interest in the NASA professional development program, August 18th – 22nd, 2014.    We are planning an exciting 5 days at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY, with meals & lodging provided. We look forward to your participation!

Participants will become GLOBE certified and be registered with our cohort in the NSTA Learning Center.   With the activities and experiences planned around using NASA Earth Systems Science resources we expect you will find this a rewarding experience!

To attend, please apply no later than May 30, 2014.  Space is limited and will be held on a first come basis. Participants will be expected to become familiar with some background material before the workshop and there will be some follow-up during the upcoming school year.  Participants will receive some great free material during the workshop and we will provide a small stipend of $50.00 to help with travel expense as well as $250.00 upon completion of all the workshop requirements. There is NO COST for this program – tuition is paid by a generous NASA grant! CEU’s are available for this course for a nominal fee – call for details (315.792.5410).

Again, thank you for your interest and please feel free to contact us if we can provide any additional information or with any further questions.
