Head Coach: Joe Milazzo

W Softball Joe MilazzoJoe Milazzo takes the reigns of the MVCC Softball program in 2012. He has been a coach in the Mohawk Valley for 29 years. He has operated both baseball and softball clinics throughout the Mohawk Valley for over 20 years. 

Mr.Milazzo coached American Legion Baseball with Adrean Post of  Utica from 1979-1987 and from 2002-2009. Joe was the Head Coach at Notre Dame High School from 1979-1987 and the assistant coach from 2002-2009. He also coached baseball at the collegiate level for Herkimer CCC in 1990 and Mohawk Valley CC from 1991-2001, leading the Hawks to two NJCAA World Series appearances.

Coach Milazzo is currently the JV Girls Basketball and Assitstant Girl's Soccer Coach at Whitesboro High School. His influence on baseball and softball in the Mohawk Valley has been seen at all levels, the Hawks are proud to have him back at MVCC.

1 year coaching in Women’s Northern Fastpitch League, 2012
4 years assistant coach Utica Sluggers girls 16u class B, & 18u class A travel teams, 2009,’10,’11,’12 16u class B NYSASA champions, 2009 & 2010
Over-all record of 293-332
Had numerous girls make all Mohawk Valley, Onondaga League, CCNYL, CSC, all CNY, Section III, NYS all star teams
Had numerous Proctor girls go on to play college softball at the junior college, and Division III level  including several play Division I.  Several ended up being their college team captain
