The Women’s Basketball Team completed the first semester with a perfect record of 13-0 and a #4 National Ranking. The Hawks took down three more opponents last week with an average victory margin of 28 points. Sophomore captain Victoria Thomas of Brooklyn led the way for the well balanced Hawks by averaging 13 points 3 assists and 7 rebounds for the week. The women will take the floor again in January on the 13th when they travel to Globe CC.
The Men’s Basketball Team finished out the first semester of play with an 8-5 overall and 7-3 Region III record. The Hawks beat Jefferson and Hudson Valley before falling to Tompkins-Cortland last week. Basil Harley led the offensive attack averaging 11 points per game. The freshman from Wadleigh High School is also averaging 11 points per game for the season along with leading the team at 85% from the free throw line.
The Ice Hockey Team finished the first semester of play still in search of their first win. The spirited Hawks dropped one game last week to perennial National Power Monroe CC of Rochester. The Team is back in action on January 13th at home versus Erie CC.
