Dimitri Campbell
The men’s basketball team will soon be vying for a Region III championship as the winter quickly winds down. Helping to blaze the trail for the Hawks this past week was Dimitri Campbell who was named MVCC’s Athlete of the Week.
Campbell averaged 18 points, eight rebounds and three steals in two victories in a three-game stretch. On the season, this freshman guard is averaging seven points and 2.5 rebounds as the Hawks have compiled a 17-9-1 overall record and 9-5 in the Mountain Valley Conference.
Campbell is a General Studies major who graduated from East High School in Rochester.
