Non-Traditional Student Week
Each year MVCC celebrates our non-traditional students by participating in the National Non-Traditional Student Week. Held the first full week of November, this week aims to recognize the non-traditional (non-traditional is defined as anyone over the age of 25, single parents, veterans, or those who work full-time) student population.
During this time, MVCC hosts a variety of activities on both campuses exclusively for non-traditional students. In previous years we have honored our students with free coffee and halfmoons, provided information about other services on and off campus, and created workshops to assist them in their studies. This week typically culminates in a free dinner where adults and their families can dine together.
