Job Description
Counsel students with career planning, actively recruit new and innovative partnerships with employers and provide workshops for students for resume development. Bachelors degree in counseling, student personnel or related field; experience in career planning, preferably in a college environment; and demonstrated customer service and organizational skills required. Resident Director - MVCC Dormitory Corporation
Job Description
A Resident Director is a member of the administrative team responsible for providing overall daily management and leadership for all on-campus housing functions. The Resident Director is the leader for one of the three on-campus complexes housing approximately 180 students and is directly responsible for student staff supervision, judicial procedures, programming and general complex operations. This is a live-on premises, 12-month position. Position start date is August 1, 2009. Bachelors degree and 1-3 years experience in Residence Life or a closely related student service area either as a professional or student is required. Associates degree with extensive Residence Life experience, in progressively responsible positions, will be considered if currently pursuing Bachelors degree. Nursing Instructors
Job Description
Tenure track positions to teach in an NLN accredited Associate degree RN program. NYS RN license, BS degree with major in Nursing, MS degree with major in Nursing or currently enrolled and pursuing an MS degree in Nursing required. MS degree in Nursing Education preferred. Travel to off-campus clinical sites required. Teaching assignments may be day or evening classes and clinicals between Utica and Rome Campus. Positions require clinical experience within the last three years in one or more of the following areas: Maternity Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing and/or Psychiatric Nursing. For these positions, understanding the mission of a comprehensive community college, community college teaching experience, knowledge of assessment strategies for student learning outcomes, capability with instructional technology, interest in teaching online courses, good communication skills, and ability to work effectively with students preferred.
