MVCC ADJUNCT FACULTY FOR SPRING 2010
MVCC seeks qualified individuals to serve as adjunct faculty. Share your professional expertise in a positive teaching and learning environment, focused on student success.
Specific needs for Spring 2010 exist in the following academic areas:
- Electrical Engineering Technology ¡V teach courses in AC/DC circuits, microprocessors and electronics; day and evening opportunities; Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering/engineering technology required, with industry experience; prior teaching experience preferred.
- Nursing ¡V Clinical adjunct to teach Psychiatric Nursing; BSN, RN, current NYS license and recent clinical experience in psychiatric nursing required.
Please indicate in your cover letter the discipline(s) in which you seek consideration, along with Utica or Rome campus preference and day or evening availability unless specified above. For most MVCC teaching opportunities, a graduate degree appropriate to the particular discipline is required. College teaching experience, knowledge of student learning outcomes, and familiarity with instructional technology and/or online teaching are preferred. For all positions academic transcripts are required at time of hire.
