This class has inspired many thoughts for me. There were times when I thought , wow, it´s just like in the textbook. Yet it goes beyond anything textbooks, computer programs or animal dissection can duplicate.

On the first day of class my apprehension about working with cadavers was replaced with excitement. There was a large difference in structure from what I had experienced in my previous dissections. I feel that students studying human anatomy on cats or human models are at a disadvantage. I learned more in the five weeks that I was in the human dissection class than I did in all of my previous encounters with anatomy.

I really enjoyed the cadaver experience. It was somewhat strange to me at first seeing a dead body, but it really brought the textbook to life. It eventually became much easier to relate material in lab. I really hope to be able to take the human dissection class next summer.

It fulfilled my expectations but I could have used much more time. It was so good to work with faculty from the Life Science Department. We all had the same goal -Anatomy. There was always something new to look forward to and learn. Thanks for the course.

To see and touch the cadaver and know some of the parts of the body we studied in class was a wonderful experience.
