About the ProgramThe program was developed at the request of, and in cooperation with, the New York Association for Pupil Transportation (NYAPT), which is a 700+ member professional organization comprised of transportation supervisors and managers from the State's school districts, BOCES, colleges and universities. The purpose of the program is to prepare personnel for management positions in transportation, especially Pupil Transportation, and to further enhance the skills of those already occupying such positions. Graduates of the program will be effective and efficient in decision-making situations in Transportation Management. Students will be equipped to stay abreast of critical issues in their changing environment. About MVCCMohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) is a multi-campus community college. The main campus is in Utica, New York and a branch campus is in the neighboring city of Rome, N.Y. MVCC is sponsored by Oneida County and is affiliated with the State University of New York. The College enrolls approximately 5,000 students each year both full and part-time. MVCC offers approximately 100 different degree and certificate program options. How to apply for Admission to the programGo to Admissions Application. Read the instructions for completing the application. You can fill in the application on your computer and then print the result or, if you prefer, you can print it out and fill out by hand. There is no cost for the application.

Once your application is complete, you will be notified by the Admissions Office of your acceptance. There are a number of things to do to prepare for the semester. Please continue on and read over the Pre-Enrollment Checklist. This checklist was prepared to assist you with your enrollment. As you read through the checklist, you will find links to forms that you will need to print out, complete and return to various campus offices.
