Service

The Lambda Beta Chapter participates in numerous service projects throughout the year with members donating hundreds of hours to MVCC and the local community.  Members are informed of upcoming service opportunities through chapter emails and our facebook page

One of our favorites each semester is participating in the Oneida County Intergenerational Cleanup Program.  This is an opportunity for members of Phi Theta Kappa to fulfill our service mission by assisting older persons in our community with general yard clean-up [raking, bagging, leaves, sweeping, etc.] as well as making a positive difference in the community by helping those who are in need -- and it's a whole lot of fun!
