Scheduling an Appointment
New students are REQUIRED to meet with an advisor before they are allowed to register for courses.
If you did not make an appointment with an advisor after completing your placement test, you may call the Academic Advisement Center in Utica at (315) 731-5710 or the Student Service Center in Rome at (315) 334-7709.
If you are coming back to the college after being out for at least four (4) consecutive semesters, you will be required to meet with an advisor in the Academic Advising Center. Returning students can set up an appointment with an advisor by calling the Academic Advisement Center in Utica at (315) 731-5710 or the Student Service Center in Rome at (315) 334-7709.
We strongly encourage all of our current students to meet with their assigned faculty advisors throughout the semester in order to ensure they are on the right academic track and to discuss what courses to take for the upcoming semester. You can find out who your faculty advisor is by looking on your DegreeWorks audit or speaking with your academic center's secretary.
